Gorefest is located off highway 202 in Gore, NS. The entrance to the farm is at 443759 4996627 UTM Zone 20 NAD83.
From Halifax:
- Take exit 8 off Hwy 102 onto Route 214.
- Head North to Nine Mile River. Turn onto Trunk 14 WEST (left).
- Follow Trunk 14 to Cheese Factory Corner.
- Turn Right onto Hwy 202 WEST.
- Follow the 202 to the 354 and stay on 202 by turning Left.
- Go half a km and turn right into the Farm. When in doubt, follow the MTB signs.
From the Valley:
- Take exit 5 in Three Mile Plains onto Trunk 14 EAST (left).
- Follow Trunk 14 for 25 or 26 kms to Route 202 EAST(turn left).
- Follow Route 202 for 15kms to Farm.
- Turn Left into Driveway.
From this direction there are no posted MTB signs to Follow. If you pass the driveway you well come to a stop sign within Half a kilometer. Turn around and follow the signs and you can’t miss it.
From Lower Sackville:
- Go straight up the Beaverbank Road(354).
- At the stop sign way way way up, go straight.
- Continue for a while until the next stop sign.
- Turn Left onto 202.
- Travel about a third of a km to the driveway on the Right.
-On a Sunday or Saturday Route 354 has little to no traffic and is relatively flat and straight.
From Northern NS or NB:
- Take exit 9 off Hwy 102 onto Trunk 14 WEST towards Rawdon/Nine Mile River.
- Follow Trunk 14 to Cheese Factory Corner.
- Turn Right onto Route 202 WEST.
- Follow the 202 to the 354(Beaverbank Road) and stay on 202 by turning Left.
- Go half a km and turn right into the Farm. When in doubt, follow the MTB signs.
